Almost exactly

Just the other day I my pictures arrived, they were not just any ordinary pictures. These pictures captured a moment in time almost exactly 8 years ago........


That year before Valentine's Day I had planed a party with my friends Tara, Nikki, and Carley. We wanted to have a party for us single gals. I did however get a boyfriend before the day had actually happened but told him that I had more important things to do. He had given me a roll of black and white film that I had used to take pictures at the party. Other pictures from another roll I had developed forever ago, but the B&W roll never made it that far. I kept losing it and finding it and then Feb. 3 I was looking for a red hair tie or barrette and found the roll. I stuck it in my pocket took it to work and sent it away in the drop box (I can't process B&W at work).

I wasn't even sure if the pictures would turn out. They did and it is so cool.
I scanned them and put them on CD and soon when I have more time I will post them.

Baby Me and Baby Mom

The picture on the left is me and the picture on the left is my mom. The picture of me is one of my favorite baby pictures. So a while back when my mom had posted this picture of her on her own blog I thought it was cute and that it kinda looked familiar. Finally I was able to scan and copy my picture then make it black and white a post them both for comparison.

Feb. 3

Today is Wear Red Day for women's heart attack awareness. I of course was already going to to wear red. My mom had a heart attack 6 years ago tomorrow. I ordered this bracelet online and it arrived today just in time. I never thought I would buy one of these rubber band bracelets... But they are for good causes. It was hard to find one for heart disease awareness. I found mine at shanrene.com. It says Faith, Courage, Strength, Hope

Braids

Some people are amazed that I can French braid my own hair. The funny thing is that when I used to French braid my hair it would be inside-out called a "lobster tail" and 60% of the time I would braid another persons hair it would be a lobster tail to. But lately every time I braid my hair it turns out the typical French braid way.
I'm not complaining though.
